iConfig Drive Connector

Purpose of the application

The application allows users to select a Google Drive folder through Google Picker.

After the user selects a folder, an authorized Chrome extension can create Google Sheets files in that folder and append or update records in files created by the application.

Google Drive access

The application uses the limited drive.file permission.

This permission allows the application to access only files created by the application or files explicitly selected by the user. The application does not request unrestricted access to all files in the user's Google Drive.

Data handling

The Firebase Hosting website does not store Google OAuth access tokens, Google Drive file contents, or selected folder identifiers.

Information about the selected folder is transferred directly to the authorized Chrome extension that started the folder selection process.
